Heart Shift and Motherhood:
Finding God's Extra in the Ordinary
My mission is to empower you to believe that God will show His extra in your ordinary.
I hope to encourage and inspire you to see that God is moving in small but profound ways through the nitty gritty rhythms of work, relationships, and family–where the proverbial rubber of faith hits the road of your everyday life.
Throughout the Scriptures we are instructed to Seek the Lord as our vital necessity. But what does that actually look like in our everyday lives with family, work, and relationships? With raw and relatable vulnerability and humor, Rebekah shares this three-day plan that offers practical insight and pragmatic application to help you start going after God like your life depends on it.
Six months after the birth of her second son, Rebekah was exhausted, broken, and circling the drain of postpartum depression. In desperation, she cried out to God, and He responded.
In this raw and relatable narrative, Rebekah shares the miraculous ways that God transformed her life and created a heart shift in that season of hardship.
The strength and utility of her story are in its everydayness. Rebekah didn't encounter God at a mountaintop spiritual retreat or through profoundly tragic circumstances. It was through the common frustrations, joy, and pain of motherhood that God revealed His miracles in her monotony. Her story demonstrates that anyone can experience God's presence and love - anywhere and at any time. Doing laundry. Changing diapers. On the way to work.
Her insights about surrender, humility, gratitude, obedience, faith, unity, and love in the nitty-gritty daily life with young kids will empower your faith to believe that God can show His extra in your ordinary.
"Heart Shift and Motherhood" came into my life as a beacon of light at a time of great darkness in my struggle with postpartum depression and anxiety.
